<p><strong>Smack Mellon</strong> reviews prints, digital images and DVDs from <strong>Mid-Career Artists</strong> wishing to have their work considered for potential two person or group exhibitions. Smack Mellon defines a mid-career artist as someone who has been working as an artist for over 10 years, and supports mid-career artists who are without commercial representation.</p>
<p>Smack Mellon&#8217;s mission is to nurture and support emerging, under-recognized mid-career and women artists in the creation and exhibition of new work by providing exhibition opportunities, studio workspace, and access to equipment and technical assistance for the realization of ambitious projects.</p>
